Commitment to achieving Net Zero
AirTube Technologies Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050.
Baseline Emissions Footprint
Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions. Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.

Emissions reduction targets
In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets.
- Remove gas from our heating solution at Hartlebury
- Continue progress to Switch to 100% renewable electricity
- Finish off programme to move all lights to LED and PIR as appropriate
- Reduce travel emissions by 15%
- Reduce electricity emissions by 5% from current base
We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next five years to 110t CO2e by 2030. This is a reduction of 30%
Carbon Reduction Projects
Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives
Whilst we have already completed projects in respect of replacing all office and warehouse /factory lighting with LED, there are a few areas still requiring completion and these will be completed within 2025.
We have begun a project to reduce gas emissions by reducing use and the next stage is set out below in replacing gas heaters.
In the future we hope to implement further measures such as:
- Introduce better scheduling to reduce transport emissions
- Introduce EV charging to workplace
- Target recruitment to geographical areas to reduce travel
- Rationalise home working further
- Replace gas heaters with air source heat pumps
